Remembering Uncle Teddy &
The Welcome Back Congress Show Part 1 of 2
This week's PKRT was supposed to be solely devoted to welcoming back Congress to the mess that evolved during recess but with the passing of the Lion we will be spending time remembering Uncle Teddy; his triumphs, his failures, his strength and courage and how his life has touched us. Of course, the Right Wing could not restrain themselves from trashing Sen. Kennedy after his death so there will be a Two Minutes Hate prominently featuring Rush Limbaugh who blew away the competition this week despite valiant attempts to be the worst of the worst from the entire lunatic fringe echo chamber. We will be discussing the SNAFU that has become health care reform with one of the founders of Health Care Refom Myths.org, Matt Taibbi's most recent Rolling Stone article on the various health care reform bills positions, clauses and loopholes before the August recess as well as climate change legislation on other pressing matters brought to you by industry lobbyists. We will be discussing the Bill Moyers interview from HBO's Real Time with Bill Maher which aired on Friday night and Mr. Moyer's call to action to save the Democratic Party from their own greed and we will mark the 4th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina and the devistation still evident 4 years later. All of this and much, much more on this week's PKRT! This week's panelists are Raine, Jen, Keith and Will. PKRT is moderated by Kristopher Keith with special production assistance provided by UNN NEWS Bureau Chief Will.
Tune in to Roots Up Radio Channel 77 at 11pm Eastern for a fun filled evening of raw, unfiltered, unapologetic and unforgivable liberal political talk on The People's forum, PKRT.

Too many voices have been forcibly drowned out in our health care debate. This is one voice for single-payer care, taking over the reins of our democracy, and ending the reign of corporate tyranny.
